GRADE POLICY: Your term grade will be composed of:

Problem Sets: 40%
Quizzes (2): 30%
Final Exam: 30%

GRADING SCALE: Your letter grade will be determined by:

A: 90 to 100
B: 80 to 90
C: 70 to 80
D: 60 to 70
F: less than 60

HOMEWORK AND EXAMS: Any homework not handed in by the individual in class on the due dates or an exam missed without making prior arrangements will be recorded as a zero.

ATTENDANCE POLICY: The requirements for assignments including due dates will be explained in class. Homework will be accepted at the beginning of class on due dates, and class participation will be taken into consideration for borderline grades.

ACADEMIC HONESTY: Plagiarized work will result in an F grade for the course.
